PGA TOUR PRO’S CEJKA, DAHMEN AND LASHLEY ADDED TO FIELD FOR 2020

DESERT FINANCIAL CREDIT UNION SCOTTSDALE AZ OPEN PRESENTED BY UNITED RENTALS

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Tournament Director Ryan Pray confirmed today that more big names have committed to play in the 2020 Desert Financial Credit Union Scottsdale AZ Open, which is set to tee it up May 11-14 at Talking Stick Golf Club in Scottsdale. The list of PGA TOUR players who have committed include Alex Cejka (1 PGA TOUR win, 11 international victories), Joel Dahmen (37th in FedEx Cup standings, 70 in Official World Golf Rankings), and Nate Lashley (2019 Rocket Mortgage Classic champion). Additionally, Pray received commitments from PGA TOUR players Colt Knost and J.J. Spaun, while Kevin Streelman (2 PGA TOUR victories) and Kirk Triplett (11 combined PGA TOUR and PGA TOUR Champions victories) committed last week.

“We are excited to be getting commitments from this high caliber of players for the 2020 Scottsdale AZ Open,” Pray said. “This will be a highly competitive tournament that features not only some PGA TOUR players, but solid players from the Korn Ferry Tour and other competitive golf Tours.”

Entering its fourth year and Presented by United Rentals, the Scottsdale AZ Open features a 54-hole tournament with a field of 162 players, with a cut to the low 50 players and ties after 36 holes. The tournament has a guaranteed purse of $130,000 – with $20,000 going to the winner.

The Desert Financial Credit Union Scottsdale AZ Open Presented by United Rentals will begin with the Headline Sports Group Pro-Am on May 11, followed by the three-day, 54-hole tournament, which will crown a champion on Thursday, May 14.
